Haha, that is what I thought at first! It looks like some crazy cool combination of painting and photo.

absolutely breathtaking and surrealistic. Completely different perspective. Didn't think there's anything new and different left to shoot of that area. But you, my man, have come up with it. Hope you find another place than MS for it.

thanks so Much!! I appreciate that. well, When I teach I can't really shoot. I probably took 30 pictures in the 3 days.Glad you Like it.As a painter I kept seeing it in my head but couldn't find the light and the bush and the background. Then BAM, there it was.Late afternoon, laying on my stomach.

Im in 5 shirts,polortech and a huge parka with gloves and Im dying from cold, daves in a t-shirt.

Well, I finally took some time to grab a few shots out of the pile. I loved the first morning at Monument Valley. There were stars, and great colors in the sky. I guess morning was kind to me. The other shot in this post was the morning some of us went to Canyon de Chelly.
