It started with the removal of Ford cars because of copyright issues. I have just had 20 motor bike pics removed as copyright issues. I wonder where this is going to. |

I just had a vector illustration of a motorcycle removed for copyright issues. Perhaps this is a trend? |

It seems as if motorcycles are the common theme here. I wonder if there was something that set this off. My file was an illustration so there was no branding present. |

Maybe there was an image of a motorcycle carved into the bark of the tree.
Other then that I have a hard time imagining why an image of a tree would be removed for copyright issues.
I'd be interested in know why they removed it. |

I can say only this - the googling showed that the tree is the official symbol of the company owning the land the tree located. |

I just had a motorcycle deleted too, one I had isolated. No rider, just a helmet on the handlebars. The e-mail notifying me of this seemed rather peremptory. Seems like, if they're going to kill one of your creations, they could at least say they regret it and are sorry & such!
And I had thought this one was safe since it's not a Harley, and IS specifically won't accept Harley images but it's been doing really well over there. Hope they don't decide it has to go too! |

I did notice that the email was a little abrupt.
"Deleted per Legal, do not resubmit"
My illustration in question was based off of a Honda. |

why do they delete images? why don't they change the status to editorial when they have issues with it?
maybe it's not possible on motorcycles, but I read about removals of images of skylines and buildings that could be used editorial
I feel very depressed by things here lately. |
