There are always bad months coming, depending on who you talk to. It's fall, it's the summer slowdown, it's winter holidays, it's the 2nd Wednesday after a full moon in a month that has at least 7 letters in it's name, whatever. It's all garbage. A good portfolio performs year-round.

Amen!

Your still getting them because customers had already purchased them before OD sales were removed from SS sales page. You may get them for a while to come but as of this time a buyer can no longer purchse OD's.

After many months of minimal effort on my part, a few months ago I began putting in slightly more effort. Lo and behold, I got more DL's, more OD's and EL's. And I don't shoot the trendy, studio, people-oriented or "stocky" types of things that are more likely to be in higher demand by buyers. I mostly just shoot what I like and feel comfortable with.

So, while historically many may experience a dip in activity for November and December, it's actually nice to know that with effort, gains can come. I'm planning to maintain my increased but very moderate level of effort and see what happens through the alleged November and December doldrums.

The boom days of "if you shoot it they will come" back in 2006/2007 are long over. Some of the crap I had masquerading as stock photos back then I wouldn't even bother to post-process today. The bar gets set higher every day. The competition increases every day. The industry changes every day. For everyone who comes to the forums complaining about sales, there are 10 anonymous submitters spending their time working instead. However lofty or moderate your goals are, it's up to you to chart a course to get there.

We can grant that for sure, at least until SS doesn't officialy announce it. They just said they were performing tests. As some other people said in other discussion trend about other languages (and myself about Spanish), there is still the possibility to buy on-demand on the other languages interfaces.

Thank you for the request of Fifi to help cheer you all up.
Fear not, Sales are Awesome (at least for me)
I only expect increases in sales at the months progress

and now hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Fifi

How could Anybody resist a smile like from This little puppy?
She is such a happy little soul, all she wants out of life is to be loved and to love everyone back, chase an occasional cat or bird in her back yard, get as many dog cookies as she can, not to mention the nightly 6 pm Truck Rides!
She sits in my lap, her head out the window, and we drive around the neighborhood for her to see whats going on and get out for about 10 minutes or so.

Stay tuned for some Exciting NEW Fifi the Bichon Frise photos soon! (im still working on the scenerio and background stuff but its going to be another fun series)

Here are a few of my favorites from the past and avalable here at SS for your downloading pleasure

A+, as always. I would vote for this dog if it were running for office. McCain probably would have had a better chance than having gone with Palin.

Actually I am getting ODs too, and sales are going well, and I'm enjoying myself, and I like snuggling in a nice warm house in winter. So i don't really think we should hang ourselves - I was just expanding the OPs original premise for fun.

Had a couple of good days in the last week, including an OD yesterday.
Busy at work which has prevented me uploading much but.....Recently uploaded a new batch with 100% approval. I think that makes a difference.
