Hi, I'm new to vector illustration, I use coreldraw. My problem is I keep getting rejected for mixing RGB and CMYK, although I've double checked several times before submission and all my colours are CMYK. What am I missing? Can anyone help?
thanks |

Is there an option called "convert to cmyk" / "convert to RGB" in CorelDraw ? I always use this when I finish an illustration - that's in Illustrator, however (edit -> edit colors -> convert to cmyk) |

Hello,
I also use Corel Draw, and here's how I do it (and never been rejected for that):
When finishing the illustration in Corel, I go to Edit -> Find and Replace -> Replace a color model or palette -> Find any color model or palette and replace with CMYK (or in my case RGB - I usually save all colors in RGB both for .jpg an for vector). You have to do the same for fills and outlines too.
Then I save the file as .ai, then open with Illustrator and save it as .eps 8.
Hope this helps. |
