Dear Contributors,
We have some exciting news to share. This week we launched Shutterbuzz, a brand new blog for Shutterstock contributors! This is a companion to our existing Shutterstock Blog, which is aimed at customers. As you'll see in our welcome message, our goal with Shutterbuzz is to make Shutterstock contributors the best-informed, most enthused, most creative and highest-earning artists in the known universe.
Here's what you'll find on Shutterbuzz:
* An archive of articles about creating stock photography, illustration and footage, which you can navigate using the green sidebar on the right-hand side of every page.
* A blog of new posts about the latest Shutterstock happenings. This will eventually become our main channel for posting announcements to Shutterstock contributors.
* Community-Submitted News. Have a fun story you want to tell? A piece of gear you think is really great? A question you think other contributors can help answer? Write it up and share it as a community post! You’ll find a link at the top of every page to Community Posts, where you can see posts from readers or submit your own using a form. Posts will be held for moderation. When approved (assuming they aren’t spam), they’ll appear on the community page for others to read and comment on. We will promote the most interesting ones to the main Shutterbuzz blog feed.
* Stories by and about the people behind Shutterstock—especially contributors, their influences and how they do their best work.
* A search box to help you find archived stories.
You can visit Shutterbuzz at buzz.shutterstock.com, or follow it with our RSS feed. We’ll also be posting Shutterbuzz announcements on our Twitter and Facebook channels.
This will be a supplement to our forums, which will remain a place for you to chat with other Shutterstock artists, and the Shutterstock Blog, our existing blog for customers.
Enjoy this new resource and please tell us what you think! You can write to blog@shutterstock.com with feedback about Shutterbuzz. As always, you can contact our contributor support team submit@shutterstock.com.
Best regards,
The Shutterstock Team |

Looks like some good info all in one place... just from scanning it for a minute. I will check it out more thoroughly later for things to help me. Thanks SS. |

Been visiting that site for the last one week...I noticed the link in the submit.shutterstock.com site's main page.
I would agree about the articles - they are great - however I think I have read some of them before, but it is good to see all info in one place. Of particular importance to me was the article about what customers want.
Cheers. |
