74,440 images added this week. Someone is getting stuff through. Is there a way to globally see what these images were? Newest first of the entire database. That could prove to be eye opening. |

It is...
Can't find a way to do that with the entire database, but you can search without keyword for anything with model release or anything editorial. It really is... interesting.
4 of those 74,440 (with 4 submitted) are mine, by the way. :) |

I usually have an acceptance ratio of about 90% here, so I don't complain. Just shot real stock stuff, commercial value is everything. |

I am loosing my religion here...
I am sending small batches and lately more than 80% were rejected...
All that files are accepted on other top tier agencies but not here...
I don't want further explanations of support because I think I know enough about stock photography and commercial value...
So, I will see what will be in near future, but I feel bad about these rejections...
Also, I respect politics of Shutterstock about higher quality, finally this is their business not mine... |

I also am having rejections lately, suddenly everything is out of focus, but rejected these photos I accept them on other sites and sold. And most fun of all is that they accept me also bigstockphotp.
I ask because the shutter reviewers see a picture out of focus, and bigstock the look right. I do not understand. ground fire by the way almost everything f/22 with tripod. |

Yep! Almost every rejected photo here on SS, WERE APPROVED on Bigstockphoto...
How it possible that BS reviewers don't see main errors like out of focus, poor lighting etc...?
These are technical matters only, so what is right standards? |

Just had a rejection for 'Limited commercial value due to framing, cropping, and/or composition' - it was a repeating pattern!! Are they actually looking at our uploads now? |

I am quite frustrated be the recent months reviews. It does not inspire to upload more. On the plus side, I should use this situation as a motivator to upload to "the other site". |

Well this is my best yet....
Rejected - "this image is already in your portfolio - do not resubmit"
No - it isn't! This is a new image and I don't have anything similar in my portfolio. What are these reviewers on?!
Good grief... |

That's why review time is so short these days !
just joined the rejected troup. That gives a strange feeling. Something like. WOW ! Rejected ? All of them ??? Normally I submit most studio work. here I submitted outdoor portraits.
main reasons:
Composition--Limited commercial value due to framing, cropping, and/or composition
Focus not where we feel it is best.
do not:
- submit back view of people,
- submit pictures with selective focus
BTW: the pictures accepted at FT DT IS, I tought IS was the most dificult one to get trough
I resubmitted one of the rejected outdoors pictures with "focus not where we feel...." together with some studio shots. It was acccepted.
A reasonable rejection reason could have been: "the horizon is not straight" . But i am not going to correct and resubmit

Just had two of my shots rejected. One for focus and one for an unclean background. I first thought you got to be kidding me but I checked and the reviewer was right. I missed a spot on the background of the one shot and the focus could have been a touch sharper on the other.
This time around the reviewer followed the higher standards and was right in rejecting them. All the other ones were accepted. |

This is really getting silly now....
Just had the same image rejected again from resubmission... "this image is already in your portfolio"... but it isn't. Really it isn't. And I resubmitted it with a note saying that it isn't. What's going on?
Edit.... uhhh... Ok - now it is in my portfolio. It's been rejected three times and never accepted, but now it's in my portfolio. Ok, that works for me.. WhooHoo!
Help.... I'm confused... :/ |

Well... selective focus is a very powerful tool, often used to isolate subjects from the background. Photographers buy expensive fast glass to do just that. Now we can't submit such pictures to SS? |

don\t forget that there are alot of pros/highly creative people now on the payroll. i bet you 90% of the new shots are from them , and not the empty=your-hard-drive crowd. |
