Hello,

I was approached by someone to help them with photographing food for their restaurant. Not knowing much about it, I agreed to do it. We'll will be talking about details later this week.

So here is my cry for help.

1. How much to charge?

2. Do I need tilt/shift or perspective control lens?

3. Light setup?

Right now I have DSLR with 100mm macro lens and one flash that I can fire up off-camera.

Are there any books/DVDs/etc you can recommend?

As far as I remember, someone over here was doing food photography workshops... I hope he/she will read this :)

This is a nice podcast from forgiss / Sean and Luba Nel. They do a good job showing how to use extension tubes and flash lighting while shooting food.

Just open the file using QuickTime 7.2 with iTunes http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

Some additional information would be helpful in answering your questions. If you like PM me and I will do what I can to help.

The site that Kenny gave is a good one to help get you started.
