A part from Photography, one of my hobbies is drawing and painting (watercolors, pencils, ink, oil...). Sadly, I don't have time to paint as I done in the past :(

Does any of you have uploaded drawings or painting in SS?

I have, for the moment, some "5-minute sketches" of real models I did in the art school. I don't know if they're going to sell well (don't think so...) but I love to see them in my portfolio :)

Hope you like them ;)

Did they require a model release for any of these? I could possibly submit some of my 1st year drawing student drawings, might be useful for a demonstration of people who can't draw to save their lives. ;)

No model release with mine because no models were used.Just a notification to the reviewer say it's your own drawing...

What's the best way to photograph drawings and paintings? Some earlier attempts ended up with colors that looked nothing like the original.

Is it better to put them on a wall or lay them down on the floor?

Thanks!

Beautiful, beautiful drawings ! You ARE an artist. They should be framed and displayed/sold in galleries.

I did it this way:
Hanging to wall make sure your lens is parallel to the painting. When you using flash try a soft box and reflectors try to get the whole painting lightend not only the centre.
