This one was for my buddy at the post office, Kevin, who is fighting brain cancer. (He enjoyed the image, thank goodness.)

Shutterstock tends to reject my original ideas, and only let a few slip through.
This one was one, and it doesnt sell much, the others would probably have been worse:

Original? There are supposedly fewer than ten basic plots for stories, but you'll find more than ten fiction book titles in the library and more then ten movies listed in IMDB (for example). "Originality" is over-rated.
But for what little it's worth, after a bit of looking I haven't seen on SS any other photos quite like the recently-uploaded series of four from which I selected this one (in small thumbnail form as it's a bit graphic, but you can click the thumbnail to view [or download!] the photo)...
Not original, but not run-of-the-mill either. |

I do believe that my series of images of a soldier with peace flag are the only ones at SS. So I suppose that makes it original - maybe not a popular money maker, but unique and I get to express myself.
