A few of you recommended me to post a new thread for the final informations, for a better overview
The dates:
from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th of October 2007
(Some people are joining later on, and some people are only there on the weekend)
The hotel:
we have the following options, but I'd like most of the people in the same hotel, otherwise it might be somewhat difficult to organize when we are there
47€/twin or dbl-room in a **-hotel in central lisbon, Name: VIP Saldanha
or
68€/ twin or dbl-room in a ***-hotel also in the city center, Name: VIP Berna
The problems:
The first problem we have to solve ASAP is the hotel, I am not sure what comfort you are seeking, I for myself am not going there for a spa week and wouldn't mind the **-hotel.
As I have said in the original thread, Francisco and Carlos went to the VIP Saldanha (**) yesterday, to have a look at it, and it's a plain small hotel (with breakfast included).
The question:
I need to know which hotel you'd prefer and we'll choose democratically, if there is no clear answer monday, well...i'll cry
..and we'll choose one and book the rooms (If we wait too long, it will only get more expensive)
what are you talking about?
If you don't know what I am talking about you might wanna have a look at this thread: SS Euro meeting 1.
But since it too long and very messy..so you'll not know what I am talking about..

How about 2009? I would really like to meet fellow Shutterstockers from Europe this year. It's not too late yet to start organizing one for the fall of 2009, a long weekend in September/October would be absolutely great. Is anyone else interested? Any suggestions on a location? |

Yeah sounds good.
How about the weather in autumn there?
Is it rainy and cold or can we have a chance of some decent light for shooting?
How about accomodation? Is it pricey? |

Me definitely and my partner (feferoni) as we both live just a short (1.5 hours) away by train in sunny Helsingborg (Sweden).
What a cool idea.
Seeing as Yuri is based in Copenhagen perhaps he might want to get involved??? (I wish!)
