I used that cool software that they always have on TV programs, like CSI, that miraculously conjure up important details in lousy photos. And after some tweaking, this face magically appeared in the window. I think it may be the ghost of a former occupant.

CREEPY!

That is creepy! Now we know it needs a model release!

The only problem I see is that the picture was obviously taken on the upside down side of the Earth. In order to fix it, you'll need to move.

That'll work for Perrys but Laurin is going to have to move to Hawaii or Japan to get his to lean back to the left. Since he lives in LA.

Wait, there's not much more lean to the left than LA.

Only thing I can see wrong is the cyan fringe. Fix that up and it should go right in! (But you'll need a model release from the wise spirit in the window!).

Looks fine to me except for the blown out sky! You might want to use the paint bucket tool to fill it in with blue!

Wow! It's a beautiful photo that's very stock worthy! The grain in every piece of wood comes through - It's very hard to capture the texture of old wooden houses realistically and you've done it superbly!

Your instinct for stock is spot on- every good stock image provides an empty space at the bottom for text! And you did just that!

I also love the colour balance you chose - you must have tweaked the hell out of this RAW image to get the green tones out. This creates a very strong concept about eco-friendliness, which is the rage today! A perfect stock photo. Well done!

I don't understand Perry and Laurin. They are wasting their time here. I know sites that pay hundreds of dollars for this fine work. In no time you get to be on the front page of a major magazine with international recognition and you get proper credit. Here, they pay you a misarable .38 cents and hardly (if any at all) credit for something that is worth hundreds. You guys are really wasting you time here.

I don't understand why the scouts of "the other sites" haven't you snatched away yet.

Bah! You guys go to easy on Perry just for being an old-timer here. Be honest, I see at least two issues that you would have killed a newbie for:

A. Just below (above?) the time stamp is an orangey speck and a small black thing that runs out of the edge. Ya gotta clean up that kind of stuff in PhotoShop before you post in here.

B. Do I actually have to point this out? I read each post figuring one of you guys would see it and comment. But leave it to the illustrator to notice the crappy antenna sticking out of the roof. C'mon, this is PhotoShop 101 here.

I think we could rig up a tripod that could hold Perry steady by dangling him by his toes!

Love the composition and lighting in both shots and the date stamp touch just made it so much better to look at.Thanks for sharing those inspiring shots Perry, they just made me want to grab my camera and go shoot. Thanks.
