Does anyone else have this problem? I am always getting prompted to log in to the site...for example, if I go to click on a new forum, it'll log me off sometimes. I must "log in" at least 2-3 times everytime I visit SS. Maybe it's just my brower (IE8) |

I'm on Google Chrome and find that I stay logged in even if I re-boot my computer.
It's probably a security/cookies setting you have. |

I'll have to check out Google Chrome. I've been seeing commercials for it. |

I use Firefox and have had that problem once or twice. I just close the browser (which is set to clear the cache, memory and cookies every time it closes), reopen it, log in and all works fine. (I have Firefox settings like that because a friend of mine was burglarized and had his computer stolen. He had his settings so that it saved cookies, etc., so the thieves promptly connected to his accounts (since he was still logged in) and created all sorts of havoc.) |

I believe SS uses your IP address for security. If you get logged out it could be that your ISP changed your IP address whilst browsing.
Aol are renowned for doing this.
I use BT and if I login to SS first thing in the morning, come dinner time I've got to log in again.
Checked my IP address and it's changed.
