Ok, so 5 out of 28 clips got rejected, which is less than I expected. However, 4 rejections are for noise. While I do (reluctantly) agree with the reviewer, I've got a question for all the pros here: Is there some kind of Noise Ninja equivalent for footage? Or any other way to clean up the noise?
(I'm kind of assuming they are talking about visual noise. After all they accepted all the noisy waterfalls. ;-) ) |

Yes, there is. Neat Image has just introduced Neat Video in plugin form for Virtualdub, After Effects, and Premiere.

The price is $49.90 USD. There is a free demo available which places a watermark in the lower right corner.
Of the above host programs, Virtualdub is free.

If you're not familiar with Virtualdub; there is a large number of plugins available for this software, including some that reduce noise. My favourite is Temporal Cleaner--and it is free. Virtualdub can read avi and mpg files and write avi.

Hope this helps.

Ah, that's great. :)
Neat Video wasn't released when I bought Neat Image, but I remember seeing announcments. I have Premiere and AfterEffects, so that shouldn't be a problem. |
