What type/make/model of diffuser have you found most effective for outdoor/indoor portrait/group shots? - Not studio work.
I have the Canon 430EX2 and want to buy a good diffuser that will do the job.
Thanks in advance

Stofen Omni Bounce
The Fong stuff is nothing short of ridiculous!
Think about the fong stuff for a minute:
You are using a portable flash, so you are already watching power.
Now...slap a silly fong thing on there, place your flash head straight up, and watch the light travel in a full 360°......
Unless you have a nice white wall behind you,and to the left and to the right, approx 180° of that energy is either lost or...worse..bouncing back as strange colors of your surroundings.
I'll give Gary Fong kudos for good marketing. but....good sense.......that's another story... |

I'd say close to 50% of the wedding photogs using speedlites at the weddings I play at just use a piece of white card and an elastic band. Then they aim the flash up at an angle, and bounce it off the bit of card at the top. |
