Somebody set seven spot fires around Phillips Ranch and Diamond Bar.....we're getting covered in smoke here....happened like a half hour ago...... |

It is Nov. in Southern California. That means Santa Ana winds and dry condiions which means the fire bugs come out to play.
Alina, here is to hoping that none of those fires get away and become a true poblem. |

yeah, bobby, true....although the winds are almost non-existent today and there are eight spots they know of now that went up simultaneously all around our little village. i was sitting by the pool and the sky just went orange almost instantaneously and just smoke, smoke, smoke... |

I was just watching this on the news. They are saying eight fires, all in a line along the 60 frwy. Started next to the freeway and then walked up the hill. No word on what started it, but it is very suspicious they would start this way. Do you live in Diamond Bar? Had several friends who lived there. |

Well Alina I hope you and your family is ok. I wish I knew what makes people do such things or maybe I don't really wanna know (maybe the truth would scare me to death) but it's so sad. Be strong as I always imagined you are.

The firefighters are doing an amazing job....everybody's safe...I believe they are putting it out one spot at a time and one is already put out. |

Hope nobody resulted injured.
This kind of things comes from really perturbed and evil people. Perturbed is not an excuse, there are lot of people with mental problems that never will hurt others.
