Hey y'all,

Dunno if you're aware of TinEye http://www.tineye.com/

It's a site where you can upload your image and it searches for where your image may have been used (and hopefully paid for!).

I use it. There is a plugin available for Firefox so that you can right click on an image and search.

I found an image of mine with it yesterday: http://www.independent.ie/travel/48-hours-in/48-hours-in-edinburgh-1891355.html
I sent them a quick email asking if they can credit me on the page.
Most of the time Tin Eye seems to find nothing, however.

I use it but I wish their database would be larger.

I think, for illustrators it is almost useless, because the illustration don't remain the same, and buyers often use it for their own works and projects. Photographers has far more better chance to find their images online.

Of course you can just Google them too. :)

Interesting points. I've found one via Tineye. As my portfolio is still very small, I thought others would be finding loads. :)

I'm really ecstatic, except that after bragging about this to my boyfriend he immediately pointed out to me that two of the swirlies are the wrong color. this is going to bug me now, unless I find a way to fix the file and re-upload it to all the sites it's on :-/

Nice one!
BTW - love your portfolio - very individual style :)
I was toying with the idea of doing a series using stick men/women, and was planning to see if it's been fully explored. Umm... not any more - yours are great! :D

This is a great site. I just found out one of my images was used in a couple of book covers.
