I ended up with some pretty cool images for stock. These are impromptu shots that do well in microstock. You just have to know how to get that special shot in a moment's notice. I am not always successful but sometimes I drank enough beer and hit the sweet spot.

I have a lot more impromptu shots but these are a few. So, some of the tricks are to carry a diffuser with you all the time and also a reflector....just in case.

Do you have good impromptu images? Show em.

Nice shots.

My wife and I were at the NJ Aquarium last year. As we were leaving, I looked across the river and said, "Wait, I think I have another shot!"

It is my most popular photo here and elsewhere:

Not sure what you mean but here's the skinny. The hockey kids were my buddy's kids. I always carry my camera so after a roller hockey practice we were leaving the rink and I just couldn't get enough of his missing teeth. We had a bright, overcast sky and all I did was use my diffuser to paste a nice, gentle soft light on his face to avoid shadows and harsh light shadows.

But I don't get your comments. They sound kind of preverted to me.

I didn't mean anything. I was just referring to the missing teeth that's all. They are great shot. I did mean that part!

Ok cool. Thanks for clarifying. Yes that was timing with a small window.

All nice shots, but I love the over/underwater one with the client's son!
