There would have been no war for Obama to inherit if it wasn't for GWB unjustifiably starting this war. I'd credit none of those deaths to anyone but GWB, not even McCain if he had won. This is Bush's war, and we can only hope that it comes to a quicker end than it would have under the Bush administration.

And check your list again. Pretty sure you're not just mentioning 20th century people either.

Democracies do not attack democracies! Democracies do not kill their citizens. Yes, the USA and past administrators [Republican or Democrat] have not been prefect. Compared to the world history of the twentieth century the conclusion and only choice is Democracy Government!
How can you support Liberals, Socialist, Marist, or Communist idealogy?

Excellent question; I looked it up for you:

Marist n.
1. A member of the Society of Mary, a congregation of Roman Catholic missionary priests founded in 1824.
2. A member of the Little Brothers of Mary, a Roman Catholic teaching congregation founded in 1817.

They may appear to be harmless, but don't let them fool you.

Ok, so now we're just repeating responses from page 3 on page 4, verbatim.

So much for discussion. Guess it was fun while it lasted. :)

Good luck to you, pcbueg. You've definitely got some things to work out in your life, not the least of which is a pretty clear dislike for minorities. Hope you can figure out how to get past that.

I assume he means all Roman Catholics, not just members of a particular order. He's probably a Protestant extremist of some kind.

I'm not sure why he maintains liberals are anti-democracy, especially as it was liberals and atheists who founded the American Republic, of which he is so proud.

If Americans had all been conservatives, America would still be composed of Colonies ruled by the British Crown.

I just thought he couldn't spell 'Marxist' or had a defective 'x' key

That might be it.

The reliability of his cut-and-paste list of dictatorial tyrants can be gauged by its inclusion of Harold Macmillan, Conservative Tyrant of Britain from 1957-63, for his slaughter of 10,000 Mau-Mau rebels in Kenya .... a uprising that effectively ended the year before Supermac was elected.

Also, I don't understand how posting that list proves a point?

Correlation is not causation...

And the slaughter of vietnamese people by the US is missing altogether

You sure you aren't talking about Michele Bauchman who wanted half of Congress investigated for being "UnAmerican". Don't forget our conservative friend McCarthy who went on the most spectacular witch hunt in American history...

I don't see any problem with the first post. Some statements may seem you true, some wrong. But like somebody likes to say - "This is a free country"...

The real problem arised when the people started to prove or reject the staements in OP. People please have sense of humor - such texts CANNOT be proven to be true or false. They are intended for laugh and as being a such they may include hyperbolic statements and be absolutely tendentious. A similar text - but "liberally" tendentious - would be a good "answer" to it.

Labeling the people is not solely L or C thing. Both parties ( and not only in US ) are guilty with this - mccartism is not pure US thing - it is a global problem - accusing the people in antiamericanism (how familiar the world sounds - we had antisovietism here ; ) and 6 year girl in racism (happened in UK some days ago) are different surfaces of same medal. it's name is EXTREMISM. And it does not matter what flag the extremism will have - L or C.

The whole list was proven false when the op completely contradicted him/herself by saying that "there are no typical conservatives." They want to believe that all people of a particular political background act a certain way, yet they immediately reverse that claim when it comes to their own politics.

Besides that, the list really crossed the line when it brought race into the equation, saying that all people of a specific political persuasion and race do a particular socially-frowned-upon act. That's just disgusting and there's no place for that kind of bigotry in this forum. Sure this is "Anything Goes", but I don't think that needs to include racism.

I'll try to avoid using such words like "racism" so often because it will cause ( BTW already caused ) inflation of the term.
