Could someone please lock the SHOW YOUR LAST IMAGE - SHOW YOUR LAST DOWNLOAD...it just clutters the forum's 4 most popular posts and blocks other interesting topics!

I agree that a separate section would be better, but the latest DL one has over 18,000 posts so do we have a right to kill it. It is by far the most popular post on SS. there are now so many Show me's, flowers, waterfalls, sunsets, etc. Lets put them somewhere for those who are interested and the rest of us can aviod.

But the way the LATEST ON THE FORUMS works, is that is just picks up on the most posted thread, so where ever you place the thread it will appear there.

They just need to isolate the thread in its section and not include it in the LATEST ON THE FORUMS.

The reason why there are so many posts in those sections is because they are constantly on the LATEST IN FORUMS. And because they are constantly on LATEST IN FORUMS it attracts people. And the more it attracts people, the more posts there are. And the more posts there are the more popular it becomes...and so on and so on...you get my drift.

So just KILL IT. It is boring anyway. I couldn't keep up with my latest DL, because by the time I have posted it, another one is downloaded and therefore I would have to continuously update this darn thread.

STOOOOOOOOOOOP!

...and if I continously add comments to this thread it will find itself at the TOP of LATEST IN FORUMS.

as a matter of fact I once tried the experiment of placing posts in one thread I started, and made sure I responded to each post, with many posts, and it gradually made it to the top of the LATEST IN FORUMS.

so it we want our voice to be heard on this issue, I think we should all post at least three times in this thread as soon as possible, so we can knock off the 'SHOW ME YOUR LAST freaking DL, hehe

Yes, KILL, KILL, KILL (the "show me" threads I mean).
How about a separate section for show me's, then the front page could have:
the most popular show me thread
the most popular SS thread
the most popular anything goes thread
the most popular from the other sections
?
