and was wondering if this camera will produce the quality of video that SS needs.

Has anyone submitted with this camera and if so, do you have any tips.

Your help or advice is much appreciated!!

You should make a clip and submit it. You won't get the highest price since it won't be the highest resolution, but I have a ZR500 and I absolutely love it. I shoot clips for this on my Canon XL2 but I know that the XR500 makes nice footage on that MiniDV tape.

Just be sure to use a tripod, because that is such a little camera every little breath you take is obvious on the footage.

Good luck, send us a link if it gets accepted!

I submitied my footage from my ZR85 and they all have been accepted. Even got one download already :)I really want to get a better video setup but figure I need the practice with my little camera first.

I would submit what you have and see how it goes. Don't get too disapointed if they don't get accepted. They are cheep cameras by way of comparison so you cannot expect them to produce that high quality video as you come to see some peoples galleries.

Best of luck!

The video that sold was one of the coffee pouring videos.

Wow, a real video from a camera? Great news. :)

Nothing against renders (I do them, too) but I was beginning to believe clips from a camera were not sold for some reason.
