I have searched this site from top to bottom and there doesn't seem to be any tutorials on how to submit footage unless I've missed it??

I have a couple of questions:

I have submitted my first clip via FTP using FTP Surfer. I used ftp.shutterstock.com as the address and my login details (the same as for main site).
Now, the file uploaded successfully according to the client but when I go to pending footage section it doesn't show?? Any reasons for this? Does that mean it hasn't been received?

I have been a submitting photographer for a long time - I don't have to apply to submit footage do I?

Is there a guide to uploading on this site? I can only find some (very) basic submission guidelines and that's it.

You don't have to apply again for submitting footage.

After uploading via FTP it can take up to one hour before the footage appears in the "waiting to be submitted" queue. There have been FTP problems lately, so maybe it's just a glitch. Give it a bit of time.

Well it's been over 6 hours and there is still no sign of it. Should I just upload it again?
