Would you folks say that this is too recognizable for stock?
Would this be a good editorial photo?
Do I need a release?

Better safe than sorry. I think if you got the release you could sell more anyway ... if you got the release, of course.

ah yes, this is true.... but there is the inherent laziness factor.
if it could get accepted as-is it would be a whole lot easier!

thanks for your opinion

It seems we share this trait, as well. Maybe it's part-in-parcel with being well-adjusted. See, if I were doing it, I'd have made sure no facial feature was visible at all... ;)

actually, this is from a series of photos from a friend of mine's horse show. I was documenting it for her and the owner of the horse.
This was a while ago, and I wasn't thinking about stock at the time.

It was a great day though, and I have lots of shots. one's in my gallery already... and bentley didn't mind one bit!

:-)

thanks again

Anybody else?
Just one of those fine-line photos, i guess.
a reviewer? jon? anybody?

The person is recognizable, so you would need a release .. but i guess thats not possible, so you could set it as an Editorial
