Did a search on this topic but when I click on the results thread it takes me back to http://submit.shutterstock.com/main.mhtml
The question I have is... Is it possible to keep an image active when a keyword change is done? I'd like to have the images show up under the old keywords untill the new ones are approved.
Thanks. |

I think to do that you have to re-upload the image for review with the new keywords then when it is accepted delete the old.
One warning though, what will you do if it is rejected ? :-) |

Good question. I hope one of the admins can shed some light on this. |

resubmit it completely with a note to the reviewer that the keywords have been updated and its a previously accepted photo.
But make sure the new keyword is even worth the trouble first. |

Rather fortunate this thread was started, I came to this forum to make a suggestion on this very subject.
I didn't realise this happened and have just spent some time reviewing my keywords. I added quite a few to each image. After doing 16 images I noticed I had files in pending. Needless to say I stopped, I don't want half my gallery offline for a couple of days.
My suggestion is this: would it not be possible simply flag up that keywords had been changed, so they could be reviewed in turn but with the images still online. The choice at the moment is, either lose the image for a couple of days or spend the time uploading the image again when all I'm doing is adding in half a dozen words.
With all due respect to shutterstock, the way it works at the moment is pretty poor. I understand the keyword abuse thing, but it doesn't really seem like the best way of going about it. |
