Hi all.

After submitting 97 pictures for uploading...and having less than half accepted....it got me thinking.

How about we submit the photos for approval, and then type in the keywords afterwards (once they are approved)? This means we wouldn't have to waste time typing in keywords for those that end up getting rejected.

Another idea....any chance we could have photographs placed in rows, rather than a list when we go to 'Stats - view by picture'?

I've been here since the beginning of January, and can't believe how much the site has changed! Keep up the good work.

Would we then be doubling the workload of the reviewers, checking the image and then checking the keywords??

Cheers,

But do they actually check the keywords?

None of my images have ever been rejected for the wrong keywords...and if SS check keywords, how come some people have inappropriate words listed?

We would also be doubling the work for ourselves - I like the idea that once I upload images (keywords and all) as soon as they are approved they're 'live & ready for sale' If not approved - so what...
If I had to wait x number of days for review then have to make time to keyword them all after that - not good.
I think that the reviewers do check keywords (albeit a quick scan of them maybe) Only human, springs to mind...
Adding keywords after approval would possibly encourage the 'spamdexers' to spamdex even more.

Only thing I believe should be done is , if a reviewer aprooves and images for it's quality but has to reject it for one or two of it's keywords , reviewers should have the power to remove the unwanted keyword so that they can accept the image. I believe it's better this way than having to wait another week in the queue just for a keyword change. ( happened to me).

they used to do that, but it takes a looooonng time to do that to every one, it adds up. so they decided it was the resposibility of the submitter (you) to keyword correctly.

yes, sometimes they miss something (they are only human) or sometimes the inappropraite words people come up with are from a while ago.
