Greetings all,
Thanks to those of you who have tested the beta version of our batch editing tool. The feedback so far has been positive and helpful.
Based on your feedback, today we added some new functionality to meet the most important needs from our contributor base.
1) Submitting Partial Batches. You told us that you wished you could submit just a few of you uploaded images at a time, instead of being forced to submit the entire batch. Now you can.
2) Keyword counters. We've added some keyword and description counters for those of you who like to use our interface to add keywords.
3) Batch Error Handling. Now error messages are displayed on the batch editor page instead of taking the user away from the page.
You may have noticed the "feedback" tab on this page. We appreciate all your comments and will use your suggestions to guide the development of the feature. Look out for more new features coming soon.
Best,
The Shutterstock Team

I didn't see a feedback tab on the page so am using the forum as feedback instead.
There is a problem when trying to submit eps10 vectors. You tell us to put eps10 in the keywords, however when you put it in and submit the file for review a message comes up telling you there is an error. If you click continue it just takes you straight back to edit the keywords etc. The older way gave you the opportunity to submit the file without making any corrections.
Due to this problem I had to revert back to the old system so that I could submit my eps10 file with eps10 in my keywords. This needs sorting out. |

It's a mixed blessing.
I would like an intermediate version with:
1. easy and fast editing of keywords and categories from ONE page as in the OLD tool, instead of having to click on each image;
(editing should be saved permanently on site though, not on local cookies)
2. ability to submit partial batches as in the NEW tool (through a tick box or CRTL); |

I used the beta version several times. While it provides some convinience, i have the following suggestion:
Please give me the ability to upload a batch of photos at a time. But, allow the chance to write the description and keywords at my own pace and maybe in later session(s).
The upload process is lengthy and a hands-off process; writing the prescription and the keywords is tedious and hands-on process. therefore, it is better to keep them seperate in order to streamline the whole workflow. |

How about your new system recognizing real English, being an English contributor, I use the word Colour not Color, the old system at second attempt let it through. The new system - no way.
i strongly object to being told this is an incorrect spelling. It is the original!! |

thanks for the feedback. The new changes we pushed now allow you the ability to upload a batch of photos as you suggest in your first quote. |

Thanks all for feedback, most of the comments here are features in the works for this batch editor.
More to come.

Here's a great comparison of British/Canadian/American spellings. |
