I use Custom White balance on the D20 a lot but it has just occurred tome that I am not sure what exposure to use when. I take a full frame photo of a grey card and then use it to set the WB.
In theory the color temp shouldnt change with exposure unless it becomes blown out but is there and accepted standrad? |

Hi, simply take a full-frame photo of a grey card and check your histogram-if the hump or peak is just slightly to the right of center,tailing-off to the bottom corner at each end, you have got it. Regards, Ken |
