Hello,
I understand that the need off accurate keywords is a necessity to draw attention to your pictures in a random search from a designer.
But, I find it hard (my native language being dutch/flemish) in coming up with sometimes more than 10 keywords. When reviewing pictures of others I notice some have more than 20, sometimes 30 or 40 keywords (and some that has no connection to the picture IMO), most of them being a synonym.
So, is this accepted.?.
And if so, can someone point me to a good translation site (dutch-english).
Thanks in advance,
Patrick.

If you think the 10 keywords you have are accurate, but you want more, try checking other images with those keywords, for a start - don't blindly copy, but look for relevant words that you may not have considered - that's way more likely to work for you than a translator, which often uses very literal translations which may give you more incorrect keywords than anything else...
Alta Vista's Babel Fish: http://babelfish.altavista.com/ does dutch/english and vice versa...
Cheers,

Hi,
Thanks for the advice and the link. I'll make some more time browsing through other galleries comparing the keywords. This might prove to be a good lesson.
Greetzz from Belgium,
Patrick. |
