Is it a Bug?

Just get the similar letter from Ukrainian photographer.
Is it the discrimination of Eastern Europe because of rools violation by 2 romaians? - If i will send here the russian purchasers they would be pushed away too?
I sent to SS a lot of talantet artists and would like enrich SS portfolio with high-grade pictures by russian photographers.
Otherwise SS will lose income of such amazing pictures:

Certain countries have to send in their portfolios before we will accept them as photographers.

They can contact submit@shutterstock.com

Because of widespread corruption & other problems that are (unfortunately) rife in certain parts of the world...

We will still allow photographers from anywhere in world -- after communicating with them and understand their portfolio is 100% theirs.

you know... like the old saying that 99% of the lawyers is giving the rest a bad name ;-D

it's a shame that it happened. Don't see it as discrimination, see it as "preventative maintenance" and in the end it protects you just as much as your friends and referrals!

Another site says 'We may need to contact you before you can submit photographs' - which left one of my friends sitting there for several weeks waiting to be contacted - then he asked how long it takes, and I mentioned I just went right ahead and FTP'd a stack of files and got on with it - I guess their 'clause' covers some of those countries with issues...

Cheers,
Stuart

O.K. I get the message from you and sent the reply.
At least there no problem with Russia. Hope, it was the last and the final manifestation of the Cold War (joke :-))
