Same for you Daisy, we can discuss anything that would clarify everything for the future. And meet with Mountainpix if you both want...

I'm sorry, my mistake.

Vita, the idea has been around a long time, however I don't think your private company that is deeply entangled into this should be involved in a stock artist right alliance, IMHO

Ben, you’re right. I’m sorry for what happened. I’m taking it seriously since I spot the forum discussion. And if there was a keyboard with “I mean it seriously” button, I’d press it more than once. But the only way how I can show that I’m serious is to be here, explain all the issues from my standpoint and at least try to show you that mine and Pixmac’s intention is to build selling model for you and us where we both win together.

The problem is the reselling. Doing that means we have to deal with a lot of data in various formats and via various sources and there seems to be a space for significant improvement. I’m going to take care of that ASAP. And we will work on it to fix any issue there might be.

Here's one of the links

My apologies about complete link. For some reason I thought the rule related to other stock agencies. In hindsight, the URL format others were using should have been a big clue :0

I’m sure that Colossus and any other agency is not intellectual property owner. Seems like a technical issue to me still as I know that we're more into the technology but the traditional agencies are basically happy that they know what internet is and how it works. I will and I am teaching them whenever I can...

As for the data from MediaBakery/Colossus. What I got is only one email yesterday saying that we should remove the images from the site (we did that 2 days earlier) and remove also the user’s page (we did that immediately today).

As for the IPTC I’m sorry that I was not able to ask our techies today as I was out of the office, but I’ll do that tomorrow morning as the first thing (means thursday morning for you too if you’re in Switzerland). Really sorry for the delay.

Vita,

- any news on who stripped/ deleted the copyright information? And who reinserted colossus copyright?

- could you tell me why Colossus/Media Bakery asked you to remove the images, and the Colossus user data? what reason did they give in the mail to you? Just curious.

thanks.

Because of the discussion here. Trying to fix any possible problems. There was nothing exact mentioned in the text, I assume that.
