Hi,

I just checked my gallery and found that about 20 photos are missing - I knew SS was going to edit galleries, but I thought we were going to get e-mails? I also thought it we would be able to tell from our review photos page? I would like the info as some of these had multiple downloads, even this month, and it would be helpful for future submissions to know what was wrong with them. Another question is this - I noticed two of the photos are in my "most popular photos" link of four for linking to other websites - shouldn't this be updated automatically? I don't want to put view my popular photos then have them not be in my gallery. Don't get me wrong - I think SS is doing an excellent job and I agree with the ongoing quality control, but I think we should get this info and updates to our links. Any help would be appreciated:)

Kinda hard to look at when you don't have a link to your gallery or anything to see if I get thumbs and no images, etc - I've certainly had notification of what had been deleted, and it was clearly listed in my stats page, so I can't see why shots would have been removed without - especially if they were top sellers - unless it was a copyright issue???

Thanks for the reply. The following (if I did it right) is a link to my personal gallery. I just counted about 31 photos when there used to be 50. Again, I love Shutterstock, but would like info on the deletions, unless it is a technical problem and they aren't really deleted. Some I agree should be deleted, but am concerned about the ones that got a few sales. Am getting ready to upload more that is why I wanted to know:)

we do send emails with reasons -- caught by spam filter?

add support ATTTT shutterstock.com and submit ATTT shutterstock.com to your whitelist.....

Just added to my safe list, although I have been getting e-mails from shutterstock coming through. Hopefully, that is what happened. If so, can I have the e-mails re-sent? Also, when photos are deleted can wel have our "most popular photos" at shutterstock link be automatically updated or be able to update ourselves somehow?

You are doing a great job on the site and I hope my photos will continue to be accepted here:)

I just realized something - if I go to my batches approved and click on show all images, it looks like the entire first of the three pages is what is not showing on my gallery - could this be a technical problem and the photos aren't deleted and thus explaining why I didn't receive an e-mail? Or, are the deletions from galleries being done based on the oldest photos in the personal gallery by a percentage or cutoff date? Please explain.

I have had photos deleted with no email... not recently though, have the emails only been a recent thing?

and it couldnt be a filter thing either because "junk" gets put into a "junk" folder and I check that folder everytime I check my inbox, I just dont delete anything from it because it will auto delete itself. And I get the other mails from ss all the time, the 'status of recently submited batches' and 'you have a msg' ones....

I see about 50 images in your gallery?? But I'm having a heck of a fight with 'savesearch' turning itself on all the time... :-(

That's it!! I just went to my gallery and shut off safe search and they all came up! :)

What is safe search? I didn't even realize that was there - what does it do?

I only see 31 pics in her gallery with or without safe search,and I notice I have the opposite problem Stuart had,the safe search keeps shutting itself off.........Ron
edit...p.s.Can we get an "unsafe search"option that will just give us the r rated stuff lol.......

Yes, looks like maybe a technical glitch - nothing in my gallery is R-Rated - maybe SS could look into this?

Okay with the safe search I see 31, without it I see 51, and I also have the problem of the safe search turning itself back on all the time.
