Perhaps on this intent only they never really delete the photos ... only the rejects are tossed into the bin !
SS doesn't maintain any ambiguity about its database stats. It clearly spells out :
1,377,146 photos available for download · 24,197 new photos added in the past week

I'm fairly new to this, but I will say the SS experience is very different than the experience at any other agency I've been uploading to. I can only suppose that it is likely that way for buyers too. I feel that I'm working with friends here and that SS administrators are helping to create that environment. Somehow SS is doing all the right things. You can market the quantity of images and the quality of images to those who've not yet come to this store, but I honestly think that the friendly, fair, and reasonable atmosphere of this place will hold onto repeat business at a higher rate than some other sites if the buyers are treated like the photographers. |
