In my opinion, kind of. Sometimes images are requested and the original poster never comes back to say they've got what they needed or even bother with the thread after their initial post.

Pity though could use the challenge of coming up with something that would meet the buyers needs.

Well I think it would be better to put this on one of the main pages or buyers lightbox.

I really think it is a bad idea of having the buyer coming into the submitters forum and see all the family trash so to speak LOL

Kind of like cleaning house before visitors come :)

Yeah like a link on the submitters home page directing us to place either links or image ideas to the images the buyer's looking for.

That definitely would be nice to have.

I was thinking the same thing - I don't think buyers spend a lot of time in the forums. It would be better to have a spot on the main page where they could link to a forum for their wish-list to post what they are seeking.

There is a useful tool - Top 100 Image Searches:
http://submit.shutterstock.com/top100kw.mhtml
- for Past Week / Past Month / Ever.
It can give you an idea of what images are needed at the moment.
