I just got the Hoodman LCD hood for my 20D. It's really neat. You remove the eyecup that comes with the camera and attach the hood. A hard plastic (but not see-through) cover protects the LCD screen. When you raise the cover, flanges on either side pop up to add glare protection.
The one complaint I might have is that you have to close the hood to take a shot unless you have a compatible indentation in your face that the open hood can fit into. You then have to raise the hood to see a preview of your shot. This could get annoying.
