Hello Guys, I am brazilian leaving on France but I will move to back to Brazil this year. (I am not sure if I should write in portuguse, english might help more people)

So first of all, I'd love to know if there are Brazilian people here. To start talking about it. Seems to be very complex and the more I read the forum the worse it gets ... forum.

I am new to SS as well, contributing just for a couple of months only. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Dan

Obrigado,
Danilo

There are some brazilians here, not many. And even less reading the forums regularly. And even less reading this specific forum area.

The tax is 30% for Brazil. Pay or get out, simple like that. THe truth is that it's too much tax, but we can't do anything about that.

De onde você é?

Thanks for the answer Marcus!
So there is no way out? I know Brazil has some agreements with US for income tax, so I guess we need to pay the 30% for US gov and then we probably will not be taxed in Brazil, for the IR, right?

P.S. Moro no Rio e estou aqui no SS há quase seis meses.

Fala Galera,

I just created my SS account few hours ago and don't understand anything about selling images on inernet and Image banks...

I have one question about the payment method. Does anybody choose brazilian paypal account? Does it work?

This taxes information made me a little upset but, these is our amazing country rules...

Grande abraço à todos

Hi folks, nice to meet you all.

I'm a new Brazilian guy here too from SP/SP.
What I have heard/read from some Microstock CEO is that the taxes are applied only to sales from US customer, and will hold the 30%. So, if a Brazilian, Japanese, and other country buy an image from you, you won't be charged this rate. Please, correct me if I'm wrong once I'm new here and didn't get any payment yet. ;0)

Good luck to you all.

Hmmm...

So, how the taxes works? I mean, we will be taxed, but just if the people from USA get our images, or all images will be taxed anyway?

Im confused. =\

Ps: New here.
