Hey Barry I got your e-mail message and tried calling a number of times...I will be going earlier and leaving later than the workshop requires, but since we are both coming from Virginia, if you decide to fly in or out on the dates that I am, you are more than welcome to come or leave in my rental vehicle...but my plan is to fly in on the 4th and fly out on the 10th...GIve me a buzz...

I wish I could reserve a seat. I can't fork up the cash in advance and can't promise that I will have it when the time comes. So I will not be reserving a seat. However if it gets closer and there is a seat open and I get the cash together I will let you (Laurin) know. For now I am a no. I hope everyone has a great time :) |

I did a check on driving times on Google Maps:
Flagstaff to Kayenta: 2 hrs. 45 min.
Phoenix to Kayenta: 5 hrs.
Las Vegas to Kayenta: 6 hrs. 48 min (via I-40); 6 hrs. 56 min (via I-15 to US 89)
I'm leaning toward Phoenix - doesn't seem all that worthwhile spending an extra $200-250 just to save 2 hours. Bigger choice of flight times too.
Just thought I'd throw that up here if it helps anyone's planning. |
