Good to read, that the problem is solved.
But the duration was very long to solve the problem.
Also I think it's important to let delete his "work" (your work) at other agencies, when you found this.
...
It's really a problem, that people sell illustrations which are made from other illustrations, where they have no copyright...

I think the fastest way to track infringement with a reverse image search engine, like tineyes. Otherwise, I will not spend my time doing nothing other than looking others portfolio, sounds silly. It is really depends on karma though.

Thanks a lot yienkeat. You did a good job man! I do not understand why some people do not mind when doing graphics? :)

Hi,

I was browsing through the vectors today, and found this:
http://www.shutterstock.com/pic.mhtml?id=83585581

I knew I have already seen it; but it took a while until I found the original (which is yours, btw):

http://www.shutterstock.com/pic.mhtml?id=79484245

I checked his gallery too; way too many designs seem too familiar - top fifty, and most popular stuff; but this was the one I recognized in an instant; although afterwards I realized that "technically" it's not the same (even the keywords are almost the same)...

I pretty much don't know what can be done about it, but anyway I thought I let you know.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I believe that is inspiration abuse, he recreated the work, couldn't say he is stealing my work...

That is the bad thing about the top-50 chart. It just encourages the spam art continues. I hope Shutterstock can suspend it one day.

Been hoping for the Top 50 to go away for years. Doubt it will happen, though.

I think the ideal position for any image is to always be ranked #51 in it's respective category. Earning well, but out of sight of the copycats.

:)
