I just noticed I'm getting a couple of rows of black pixels across the top of my videos. I can fix these in no problem in post production but I wonder if anyone has seen this before and knows what the cause is.
I don't think it's the camera because the same thing occurred in a video that I created from still photos and I'm also guessing it's not program specific since it occurs in iMovie, Quicktime, Avid and a couple of other programs that are free.
So I guess it's something common to all of the software i.e. some sort of codec or setting that I am unaware of.
I use a Mac with OS 10.4.9
I guess I need to try on another computer to be sure it's not the camera but I'm pretty sure it isn't for the reasons mentioned above.
Any help or suggestions appreciated.

This usually happens when a NTSC DV clip is used as a NTSC D1 clip (which has 6 lines more than DV). But I've never seen that on a PAL clip before. Sorry, can't help you there. :(
