Shutterstock Photographer Forum :: View topic - Uploaded images are not displayed when I search for them

Dear all,

there are several images (rougly 5 or 6) having been approved and uploaded that do not appear neither in the New content nor in the Popular or relevant content when I search for them. In contrast, these images do appear in my image gallery. I don't get it, what's going on? How can I solve it?

I uploaded 3 of the above images one week ago and 2 of them three weeks ago.

There have been almost countless threads on this subject over the past few months. It is an ongoing problem that Shutterstock says they are working on.

In most cases the images do appear. It is getting very frustrating.

When were your initial 10 images approved (or at least 7 of the 10)? I'm asking because it says there are no photos in your gallery which usually happens when a submitter has not had at least 7 of their initial 10 accepted or if they have, it's just been in the last day or so (it can take a few days for them to show up). If it's been more than a few days and you did have at least 7 of your initial 10 approved, then something is definitely wrong.

What's the story on this Matt? I still don't see anything but "There are no photos in this gallery" when I click on your port.

(Clicking the little camera icon under your name or under anyone else's name takes you to their port)

So you didn't get accepted, I assume. Still waiting to see your stuff in the critique forum. If you give up (which I suspect you already have), you'll never get accepted.
