I just posted on YouTube a trailer for a story I'm writing and animating together with my friend and partner. It's entirely CG, entirely done "in-house" using our models (some sold here) and stock sound FX. "Roswell Revisited” was initially posted on Vimeo for the Weekend Project competition. It did not win anything, but we had a blast with good, encouraging comments from videographers. If you enjoy sci-fi with a funny twist, and have 2 minutes to spare, please view and comment - link below.
Thanks,
Daniela

(“Roswell Revisited” is a flash fiction account of what went wrong in the Roswell UFO incident; and how to fix a botched alien encounter on a second try - from the others’ perspective :). We self-published the flash story on Lulu.com and now is available on iTunes.)

Very pro and cool...not really understanding the apples though, but loved watching it all!

Thank you so much.
Yea, this is our first try - more like a test to see if this is even possible given a limited experience in scripting a story and animating. There's a lot more we have to learn and do to make it work, but so far we are encouraged by good comments.
Thanks again,
Daniela

Apples: Maybe I’m reading too much into it?
a better way to introduce yourself to (have influence on) an alien race (foreign culture) is with a gift of food (knowledge) and an understanding welcome (not trying to kill them.)
I thought it was a clever and funny punchline, it made me laugh.
