Reminder: Payout emails go out on the first business day of the month, which will be Jan 3rd 2012
We wanted to remind you that you will be receiving your payout calculation email on January 3rd 2012. We're reminding you because you may have been expecting it on January 1st. As you may have noticed in the last few payout notifications we have switched to sending these emails out on the first business day of the month, rather than the first of the month.
Please note this doesn't affect when you will receive your payment. Those will continue to go out on the same schedule (before the 15th of the month).
If you have any questions please post them in this thread so that we can answer them all in one place.
Thanks!
Best,

Do any of you have to give Paypal a percentage from your royalties payment? I get payments via check currently. But I'm willing to switch if I don't lose anything if I withdraw direct to my bank account.
I tried to search for the answer here, but the results were too extensive and unhelpful. So please don't respond if you want to berate me for asking. Let's be nice to each other. |

No percentage taken from my PP, Rhino. Wouldn't expect yours to be any different. |

Can someone tell me, if I get to $75 before the 15th of the month will I still get paid that month - or the next?
I've set my payout at $75 obviously, and I'm at around $74 right now....
Thanks... |

No, they do payouts based on the end of each month. So your total at the end of Jan 31 will be paid by Feb 15. If you didn't reach the payout minimum by the 31st, then your balance would accumulate through February and would be paid by March 15. |

evaners - thanks - you've always been quick to step in and help. :)
It took a whole darn year to get to $74, but I do only have about 50 images - half of them are the vectors to the jpgs. So, at mostly 25c a download - I guess that is not that horrible.
I would love some more money per download though---but I guess so would everyone. |

Build up the portfolio. Try to submit at least 1 a day. That will increase your volume and your commission will be higher once you hit a certain dollar amount of total sales. You have a unique style in some of your work. Exploit it. This method seems to be paying off for me on Shutterstock. |
