same here
Chrome 16.0.912.75 / MacOs X Lion 10.7.2 11C74

javascripts seem not working

catalog_manager.mhtml:2874 Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'observe'
prototype.js:4071Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'dispatchEvent'

also link from Resources -> Discussion Forum results in download of index.php (from Contributor Home page)
when trying directly https://submit.shutterstock.com/forum direct link results in redirect timeout to submit.shutterstock.com:81/forum/

but all together seems more like my browser is broken with some plugin, cause otherwise you would get much more bug reports
(was able to reach forum only via google and clicking link)

<script type="text/javascript">s
var jq = jQuery.noConflict();
</script>

Quick DIY FIX for the problem.
Using chrome or firefox:
1. open catalog manager page
2. open console and tab Scripts then reload the page
3. from dropdown select the script catalog_manager.mhtml
4. find the line 48: <script type="text/javascript">s
and set a breakpoint on that line
5. reload the page, the program stops on that line
6. in the console below write: s = 0; [enter]
7. run the script using play (>) icon
catalog manager is now working.

Tested on chrome.
Might be something simpler over there but I didn't try anything else.

forumguru, can You please provide some time estimation for a fix ? Seems like during upload release button is not working as well. I have to use old upload manager, which is far less convenient.

This is a reoccurring problem.

The last 5 batches that I submitted are not showing up in my catalog manager. I have noticed and reported this bug several times in the past.

How often does the application update and if it is not every day on what days does it update.

I may be dense, but I haven't created any catalog sets as I have yet to figure out any useful purpose for them. Do customers see these? I believe I read somewhere that they don't and it's for contributors use only. If that's correct, what value is it?

It is a easy way to track sales.

For instance I have a set for new images.

;) However at the moment the results are skewed because my last 5 batches are not available in the catalog manager to add to that set.

The issues with the Catalog Manager should have been corrected. If you have continued issues, please respond here with details so that we can investigate further.

thp, when was the last time you updated your browser and have you tried clearing your cache? We have not experienced an issue on Firefox on our end.

Susan, it takes about three days for images to be indexed throughout the site which is likely why you are not seeing these batches in Catalog Manager. If they do not appear in a few more days, please let us know.

Thanks!

forumguru - I run firefox 10 (was 9) and still have the issue as of yesterday. Have cleared my cache a million times but no luck. Am experiencing other caching issues with firefox though (not on SS, but other sites).

Still not quite right.
The part where it shows the list of sets on the main part of the contributors page, some of the set titles are not showing. But they are otherwise published as indicated in the catalog area.

Some pictures do not show up in the catalog. I can see them in portfolio, but not in the catalog manager.
