Okay, that trumps my tiered rejection from The Coffin Factory magazine. *sad* What do you write? |
Magazine articles about computer graphics! At least I used to, back in the day (I guess if I am old enough to remember watching The Prisoner on TV I am no spring chicken).
I wrote enough articles that I qualified for Authors Guild membership even though I never had a book published by a major publisher, which you usually have to do to be a member.
I sometimes think about writing again, but making vectors is more fun! |
(Sorry it took a while to get back to reply. My internets fell over. Again)
That is very cool and I am very jealous of your guild membership. I look forward to the day I can get my UK Soociety of Author's card, simply because it will give me a discount at Waterstone's (or "Waterstones" as they have recently changed their name to. Yeah, don't get me started.) |

That apostrophe question reminds me of a large clothing company over here. Their name is Lands' End, and they've been asked a lot over the years to explain why the apostrophe is in the wrong place. I found a quote from the company's founder, Gary Comer, on their website, "There have been some silly explanations along the way, but the truth is, it was a mistake. It was a typo in our first printed piece, and we couldn't afford to reprint and correct it." |
