I am starting to get really frustrated, it has been 2 days now and I can't seem to upload any new files. I use filezilla and upload them like I normally do but they will not show up on shutterstock. They say to wait 45 min, but I have waited 2 days and still nothing (usually they show up instantly). I know it's not a problem with filezilla, I have uploaded to other sites using it yesterday with no problems.
Is there a limit to how many files you can upload in a week? Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?
I sent a message to shutterstock but I don't really know if that is the proper way to get issues resolved like this. |

No weekly limit.
If it's a small batch upload via HTTP like I did, that works fine.
No harm done in contacting SS but keep using the same thread (no new threads) to avoid cluttering the forum.
This thread has a proper title for the issue so lets continue there:

Lots of people seem to be having problems with FTP at the moment. The HTTP upload is working OK

Yes, the ftp doesn't work for me neither (images uploaded can't be seen).
I use the browser plugin. |

Hi all,
I've noted this on several other threads but we are working to get this fixed very soon. As noted above, HTTP is working for image uploads and ActiveX is also an alternative. As for footage, we'll let you know when this is ready to go. For now, refrain from uploading the same content twice. Once a fix goes through, all content will be uploaded. Thanks! |
