Hi everyone, one of the pics i uploaded for the exam was rejected due to "Trademark--Contains potential trademark or copyright infringement."

The font used is Hattori Hanzo and is 100% free for any commercial use. The texture of the bag is made by myself and i do not see any trademarks there:

Please help me understand what copyrights are violated.

And one more thing, i failed the exam because only 6 images were approved and this one should be the 7th to pass. Can i somehow affect the situation and apply for reviewing my images without having to wait another month?

Thanks.

You can write to support@shutterstock.com explaining it and hope they will see fit to do something - they're not noted for their fast response times but you should get something out of them within a week.

That said, I don't know if this will get accepted. It's one of those which, even if it did, might not sell. Your perspective is really off, both with the pattern and the bag itself.

Use the month to create vectors so when you do get accepted, they're ready to go.

And welcome!

Best Buy is a chain of stores here in the US that sells electronics. Which is why you probably got the copyright rejection.

Don't feel bad you didn't know. I had a vector and it's raster deleted back in I think 2010 for copyright. They had been online over a year before they were taking off. Guess "Baby on Board" is a copyrighted saying. I didn't know that and the others that also had images removed didn't either. It just happens.
