I shot this a few days ago and I need to know a few things before I got to thr trouble of fixing it up. I could use some feedback to help me with future images.

http://www.geocities.com/wardripdesign/test/antacid.jpg

1. Is this image usable?

2. Is the cropping going to be a problem? I like the subject at at the outside of the frame but I am also new to stock photography. Would it sell better if it were all within the frame?

3. Is the fact that the cap is missing and the foil at the top going to be a problem?

Thank you in advance.

1: Yes (given it is sharp at 100%), Very nice isolation, things on white backgrounds tend to sell well

2: Perhaps, some reviewers might not like it
why not try cropping 1/2 way through the opening

if it is easy to reshoot I would do so with the whole jar

3: no

1. Agree with MHD
2. Agree with MHD (that was my first thought)
3. I would have removed the tid-bits of foil and preffered to have the cap lying on the surface with the tablets. (but that's just me).

When it comes to photography, where you reate the scene. Look at the picture before you take the picture. Strive for perfection and nothing less.
