With your bread and wine glass shot the reviewer was correct with the composition rejection because you have so much of the wine glass cut off and the bread in the bottom part of the glass is also cut off as a result of it.

The other problem with the shot is that the bread looks as if it has seen better days. One of the main things that I teach with food photography is to use the best example of the food as you can. The object of a food shot is to make the viewer want to stick their head into the monitor and eat or drink what you are showing. If it is not at its best that is not accomplished.

You can also improve on the bread's appearance by cutting it a bit on a bias or angle. This gives a longer look to the pieces.

If you want to show this shot then it is better to do it full length in a vertical format. Food in the wine glass may be a bit confusing to some viewers as well. I understand you were going for that "something different" than the usual bread in a basket which is fine you just need to do it in a better and more understandable way.

Also, you need to check your crop size. If these are truly 100% crops, then the overall images are too small to meet the 4MP minimum anyway.

Thanks for the notice!

I found that I didn't crop the image correctly, these are new 100% crops:

Thank you

Now that you are looking at image of your Common Moorhen (Gallinula chloropus) and the Drongo at 100%, I am sure that you can see that they are noisy and OOF.

I like the fretwork on the musical instrument, but what is it?

I have a few musical instrument shots, but I believe they are easier to understand what the instrument is, even though I have deliberately cropped in tight and they have sold a few times.

And of course it never hurts to have a pretty girl in the image, and/or leave copy space that she is looking into

Not so much the angle, just need a bit more of it to be able to recognize what it is ;-)
