What camera are you using? I focus with live view, then shoot, even at very slow speeds. Yes, the live view image disappears as it's shooting but I'm already focused by then.


When you use the live view, the mirror is up, but when you shooting the mirror change. The focus don´t change, but the mirror provoque a litter moving in the shoot. I´m use a Canon dslr

Im not a fan of Live view. It was designed for video and the resolution on DSLR's kinda sucks. If ya need something Like that I would get a dedicated 5 IN Marshall Very high rez Ext Monitor that goes into your hot shoe. I use one and it's VERY good.If your camera has HDMI out.Or at the least a Hoodloupe by Hoodman.
