I have seen photos of buildings, not newsworthy, but the caption made it newsworthy. I will give it a shot after the initial 10 and see what the reviewer thinks. Will post the decision.

I don't like disagreeing with Laurin, but I had some images approved a couple of weeks ago of a local western art museum. Also have images of things like aquariums and other landmarks. It's always worth a shot. City landmarks and other tourist attractions can sell pretty well. It doesn't have to be "in the news" to be newsworthy, like a photo of the president or something. It has to be something a news organization would use at some point.

I've found this to be true. The pic below is not "newsworthy" by any stretch according to a hard-news definition, but I was able to supply it with a sufficiently usable caption to get it approved. And it's sold, —well, I don't know anymore, but well over 50. And I can't think of any actual advertising it would be used for; rather in travel blogs, local attractions stories, etc.

Thats best. Good Idea. And BTW, I prefer folks disagree with me. You believe in something disregard what anyone says. Shows you care.

Thanks Laurin.

I think as a newby to stock photography I shouldnt ask for advice and then disregard it when I get it. So I tend to listen to you ;-) But yes, I have my own mind too. Will let you know what the reviewer decides.

Thanks again.

Also leads to an element of "prove it". So, think someone is wrong, prove they are. Two possible outcomes, either proof in the pudding, or a "told you so" moment.
