I had a huge pile of grand canyon/antelope ones rejected as well. Pissed me off enough that I didn't resubmit them. Given that what you have is typical lighting for the area (and very well and subtly captured IMHO) I also wonder what reviewers expect. Not like you can put a softbox on the sun.

Ok, here are a few that got accepted:

I honestly cannot see any difference between these that got accepted an the ones that got rejected.

Lets look at this last one:

Why did this one get accepted:

and this one rejected:

They are similar, but I honestly think that the rejected one is better.

I agree. Number 2 is the better of the two. It's all subjective I suppose.

Did you upload them all at once? Is it posable that the reviewer thought I'll take one of these and one of those but not all of them? My thoughts are upload one at a time that way the reviewer does not see 20 similar images all at the same time.

Makes sense. Good call. Will take that in consideration when I ever end up in a similar situation when uploading.

I agree as well second one is better, perhaps Mike is right, although I might have played with the image a bit like this for a bit more drama, the original is a bit dull:-)

When I was uploading, I almost never uploaded more than one a day.
