Yes, but there is no order information there. I think the paid report is only in Russian. |

Yeah, I noticed that as well. In looking at the report lists, I know that at least a few of the people listed use the Shutterstock Twitter app, which publicly reports daily sales. I bet that's how they are compiling data for the paid report. |

Interesting. Serge is the creator's name. I think he's been on the MSG forum too. Big language barrier, but I'm very curious to ask him. |

If the stats are, in fact, pulled from twitter, that's public info and although selling such info falls into a sort of moral gray area, it's probably not illegal. |

Got it. Sort of like U.S. senators that short American stocks and commodities! (smile) |

Indeed. I definitely see where there is a huge amount of contributors with 100 or less images and then a "serious" bunch where the portfolio size go way up. Does anyone else notice that those with the biggest seem to contain lots of raster versions AND some quality issues? Or is that just me being picky? |

Yes, I missed that. Wow. That's when I joined: Summer 2009. Then look at how far down new contributors dropped to now. Who would think that would happen with more layoffs worldwide? Very odd! |

Maybe they've just tightened up their requirements for new artists. Good thing though - We don't need more competitors around :b |

That would be one explanation, but I wouldn't expect that to have such a huge effect. The drop in new contributor numbers must mainly come from less people being interested in this way of earning money. For various reasons obviously and I totally agree it's good news for us. :) |

Agreed. Our "way of life" isn't for everyone. It's quite a grind. |
